![]() How do you measure ankle DF? Do you have them supine, knee extension and knee flexion? Thats great but what happens when they are in a weight bearing position? The half kneeling DF test is a fantastic way to see DF deficits while also seeing what happens at the midfoot. Often you will see changes in DF, supination/pronation, and great toe extension or flexion. Next time your evaluating someone with LE problems and you notice restrictions in a functional squat for example, try out this test.
