Brian Schwabe PT, DPT, SCS, CSCS  (Los Angeles, CA)
Board Certified Sports Clinical Specialist in Physical Therapy
Clinic Director: IO Sports Therapy

Bio:
A graduate of Saint Louis University and USC's Sports Residency, my foundation lies in sports physical therapy.  I have been a board certified sports physio since 2015 and have experience working with youth, high school, collegiate, and professional athletes from the NBA, NFL, UFC, MLB, WNBA, and MLS.  Additionally, each year I cover numerous sporting events that have included NFL Players Association games, NBA pre-draft workouts, the DREW League, WNBA games, AVP beach volleyball, Dew Tour, ESPN sports science show, and working on-set for TV shows at major studios.

My passion lies in all things sports physical therapy and performance.  With that passion I have been hired as a consultant to create over 200 IG stories, over 200 FB LIVES, and 3 fitness studio shoots for various health & fitness companies.  Additionally, I partnered with a fitness company to create a fitness mobility e-book which has sold over 1,000 copies.  In addition to partnering with fitness companies, my entrepreneurial nature led me to pursue on-going consulting with gymnastics gyms and AAU basketball clubs for over 2 years.  I've been a Director of Performance & Training for an LA based physical therapy clinic, Lead Physical Therapist for another, and currently am the Clinic Director/Lead Sports Physical Therapist for a highly specialized sports performance center in Irvine, CA working side by side each day with four strength and conditioning specialists.

My mission is to provide quality sports physical therapy, performance, and entrepreneurial content for sports medicine professionals.  To that mission I have created multiple courses, lectured at DPT universities, and regularly contribute to magazine and online publications.  I enjoy teaching and working with high level athletes.

Feel free to reach out to my email or on social media with any questions or inquiries!
