Want to know more about the life of sports physical therapy resident? How about what you should do to get into programs? Or why do a sports vs an orthopedic residency? If you are curious to any of these questions look no further than this google hangout. Representing 5 different sports residencies, you can be sure you get multiple different perspectives.
Special thanks to: Joe Micca (UPMC), Michael Scalafini (Cleveland Clinic), Chelseana Davis (OSU), and Sean Bardenett (Ben Hogan) for taking the time to sit down and talk about sports residencies with me. Always great to talk sports PT with other passionate professionals.

This was great, love hearing perspective from current residents! I am an ATC and a first year DPT student and I think there will be a sports residency in my future.

Thanks to all of you for taking the time out of your busy schedules to provide information about life as a resident. I am considering a sports residency, but I am concerned about the financial commitment. I have read there is variability among sites in terms of what residents are paid. Are you paid a salary?

This was a great resource. I'm currently a second year PT student considering a Sports Residency. With the insight provided, I feel I am better equipped to make a decision on whether the residency is right for me. This videos also gave me a better understanding of differences between programs and what questions are important to ask before ever making a commitment. Thanks again.

Sports Resident, Justin Kutcher and Sports Director, Brian Bielik are hosting their second Q&A session. Feel free to ask them questions about sports or anything else you'd like. The official hashtag for this is #KutcherKrankTime, so follow it there before we start. I'll get Justin's phone number from him after his Hangout through Twitter DM or something.
