The core.  How many times per day do we hear someone talk about how to improve core function, strength, etc?  Furthermore, how many of us don't pay attention to how we talk about the core.  Do we explain it properly to patients or clients?  

The core is composed of many different muscles that all represent an integral parts of the "core".  What is important to understand and explain to our patients/clients is that the core is designed to resist motion instead of initiating it.  In this article I recently wrote, I go through the 3 most important ways to train the core.
